EAU CLAIRE - The 40th Annual Juried Student Art Show will be held May 1-18 in the Foster Art Gallery of the Fine Arts Center at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.

The show will feature the finest work by UW-Eau Claire students from the past year as selected by a nationally known juror. The juror for this year's show is Karon Winzenz, a member of the UW-Green Bay faculty.

Students with work featured were allowed to enter three works completed as a student at UW-Eau Claire in the last year. Works by students included in last year's Juried Student Show could not be resubmitted. The show includes 2-D and 3-D works.

The awards ceremony and reception for the show will be held from 7:30 to 9 p.m. May 1 in the Foster Gallery.

Gallery hours are 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. weekdays and 1 to 4:30 p.m. weekends.
