EAU CLAIRE - An accounting and German major at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire has been named the 1997 recipient of the Vincent K. Derscheid Accounting Scholarship given by the Wisconsin Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

The scholarship will provide Elizabeth A. Uhlrich, Pewaukee, with $1,000 for her junior year and $1,000 for her senior year as long as she continues to study accounting at a Wisconsin university or college.

The funds are provided by the Wisconsin Institute of CPAs' Educational Foundation Inc. The scholarship is given each year to a junior accounting major attending an accredited university or college in Wisconsin.
