EAU CLAIRE - The Educational Opportunity Center, housed at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, and the Thorp S.T.A.R (Sharing Time and Resources) will sponsor "Career Clues."
The workshop is scheduled for 8 to 9:30 p.m. Thursday, April 24, at the Thorp Elementary School Commons.
The program is designed for adults who are considering returning to school or changing careers. Participants will have the opportunity to take the Self Directed Search to identify factors affecting future career choice and satisfaction. Discussion will also address career interests, how those interests can best be developed, and educational offerings within the area.
"Career Clues" will be lead by Jill Christopherson of the Educational Opportunity Center. Christopherson holds a master's degree in guidance and counseling and has more than nine years experience in career counseling. She has presented career related topics locally and internationally to individuals in transition.
