MAILED: March 26, 1997 EAU CLAIRE - The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire's German Honor Society, Delta Phi Alpha, has scheduled several activities in honor of German Week, April 13-16. German enthusiasts will gather Sunday, April 13, to view an authentic German film, "Maybe...Maybe Not." The film will screen at 6 p.m. in Schofield Auditorium. It will be in German with English subtitled. Following the film, there will be a roundtable discussion at the Camaraderie in Eau Claire. The film will be sponsored by UW-Eau Claire's International Film Society. Margrit Zinggeler of Minneapolis will speak at 6:30 p.m. Monday, April 14, in the Hibbard Hall Penthouse. She will discuss job opportunities abroad for students of German. In addition, she will talk about a language certification test for use of the German language in business. German Honor Society member Becky Kamke will present her independent study project involving the Internet and German Web sites. Her presentation will begin at 5 p.m. Wednesday, April 16, in room 281 of Phillips Science Hall. The German Honor Society's faculty adviser is Irene Lazda.
