EAU CLAIRE - The fifth annual "Evening of Champions," hosted by the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire's Forensics program, will be held at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 18, in the Davies Theatre.

Team members will demonstrate public speaking and interpretation events that will be used at the upcoming American Forensics Association and National Forensics Association tournaments in April.

The UW-Eau Claire program has been consistently ranked as one of the top 10 in the country. This year the team has won more than 15 sweepstakes awards, including the 1997 Wisconsin State Championship. Two members have also qualified to represent Wisconsin at the Interstate Oratory Competition in Williamsburg, Va.

The "Evening of Champions" is free and open to the public.
