EAU CLAIRE - The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire Career Services and Academic Advising and Testing office will offer a workshop titled "Finding Your Path" in February and March.
The five session workshop series is recommended for freshmen and sophomores and is designed for students who want to make a commitment to setting a career goal. Participants will learn about themselves and discover how they can use knowledge about their interests, values and skills to find satisfying career options. Personal assessments and occupational research will be conducted.
The five-session group workshop will be offered on Mondays and Tuesdays. The Monday group will meet Feb. 17 and 24 and March 3, 10 and 17 from 4 to 5:30 p.m. The Tuesday sessions meets Feb. 11, 18 and 25 and March 4 and 11 from 3:30 to 5 p.m. All meetings will be held in Schofield Hall, room 226.
The Tuesday workshop session will use the Myers Briggs Type Indicator and the Strong Interest Inventory. The cost of the Tuesday session is $12 for testing materials. The Monday session will use a variety of assessment tools and requires no fee.
