EAU CLAIRE - A workshop titled "Music and Memory (Evening with a Professor)" will be held from 7:15-9:15 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 11, in the Phillips Recital Hall of the Fine Arts Center. Lee Anna Rasar, associate professor of allied health professions, will host the session. The purpose of the hands-on workshop is to gain an understanding of how music therapy helps in language, physical, cognitive, social, emotional or spiritual growth. Participants will use the guitar, piano, omnichord and tone chimes to experience the therapy. The workshop, sponsored by the Arts and Sciences Continuing Education office, is open to the public. Tickets are $7 and are available at the Arts and Sciences Continuing Education Office.
