EAU CLAIRE -- The seventh annual Hmong Cultural Festival will take place Saturday, March 15 at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. The festival will run from 1-5 p.m. in the Council Fire Room of Davies Center. The event is designed to inform and teach others in the Eau Claire community about past, present and future Hmong culture. Hmong dances, poetry, fashion and music will be offered during the festival. Following the afternoon events, a Hmong band will perform from 7-11 p.m. Semi-formal attire is preferred. The festival and concert are sponsored by the Hmong Student Association, American Ethnic Coordinating Office and UW-Eau Claire Foundation Inc. All events are free and open to the public.
