EAU CLAIRE - Adults who are considering a career change or contemplating returning to school can attend an informative program sponsored by the Western Wisconsin Technical College and the Educational Opportunity Center, housed at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. The program, "Affordable Education in Seasons of Change," will discuss labor market trends, strategies for financing education and educational programs. Participants will receive information about the trends that shape the Eau Claire community labor market, jobs of the future, financial aid available for adult students, and planning for the cost of an education. The program will be held from 7-9 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 25, in the Jackson County Incubator Building at the Western Wisconsin Technical College in Black River Falls. Jill Christopherson, of the EOC, will lead the program. Christopherson has a master's degree in guidance and counseling and has more than nine years experience in career counseling. Students who have made the decision to return to school will be available to share information. The program is free and open to the public.
