EAU CLAIRE -- The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire music and theatre arts department will present the following musical performances the week beginning Monday, Feb. 3. All events are free and open to the public.
MONDAY, FEB. 3:
- Jeffrey Ilse, a senior music major, will present a trombone recital 8 p.m. in Phillips Recital Hall of the Fine Arts Center. Ilse will perform pieces by G. Christoph Wagenseil, R. Vaughan Williams, Eugene Bozza, Paul Hindemith, Arthur Pryor and Gustav Mahler. He will be accompanied by Cindy Lindeen-Martin on the piano.
- Visiting artist Denise Myers, lyric soprano, will present a recital at 8 p.m. in Schofield Auditorium. Myers will perform pieces by Dorothy Rudd Moore, Elie Siegmeister, David Baker, Noel daCosta and Leslie Adams. She has performed with the Richmond Civic Opera in Richmond, Va. and the Indiana University Opera Theatre. Myers will be accompanied by Kathleen Kraulik on piano.
