EAU CLAIRE -A brief commemorative sunset ceremony in honor of The Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. will be held Monday, Jan. 20.

The ceremony, titled "In Honor of the Man and His Dream," will run from 5-5:15 p.m. at the Ecumenical Religious Center, 110 Garfield Ave.

The candlelight ceremony will celebrate the philosophy and ideas of one of America's most important historical figures. It will include music and excerpts from the well-known "I have a dream..." speech.

The event will be sponsored by the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire Activities and Programs Office, the American Ethnic Coordinating Office and the ERC.
