EAU CLAIRE - A drawing exhibit titled "Mental/Visual/Manual" will open Thursday, Feb. 6, in the Foster Gallery of the Fine Arts Center at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.

The show will feature works by Sandy Winters, Jim Nutt, Richard Hull, Robert Cumming, Warren Rosser and Martin Ramirez. Pieces for the exhibit will be presented courtesy of the Jan Weiner Gallery of Kansas City, the Phyllis Kind Gallery of Chicago, the collection of Gladys Nilsson and Jim Nutt, the Howard Yezerski Gallery of Boston and the George Adams Gallery of New York.

Dr. Eugene Hood, associate professor of art at UW-Eau Claire, will curate the event along with the Jan Weiner Gallery, the Phyllis Kind Gallery, the Howard Yezerski Gallery and the George Adams Gallery.

The opening reception for this show will be from 7:30-9 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 6, with visiting artist Warren Rosser attending along with Jan Weiner. The exhibit will continue through Feb. 27.

Gallery hours are 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. weekdays and 1 to 4:30 p.m. weekends.
