Chippewa Valley Youth Symphony
To Perform Dec. 11 at UW-Eau Claire

EAU CLAIRE — The Chippewa Valley Youth Symphony will present its 24th season concert at 3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 11, in Gantner Concert Hall of the Haas Fine Arts Center at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.

Ivar Lunde Jr., emeritus professor of music, is the music director and conductor, and senior David Snyder, La Crosse, is assistant conductor. Jason Kubiatowicz, Eau Claire North High School, will be featured on trumpet.

The event is free and open to the public.

The Chippewa Valley Youth Symphony offers a creative outlet and symphony experience for area students in grades 7-12. This year there are 54 members and four UW-Eau Claire student section leaders.
