UW-Eau Claire University Band
to Perform Nov. 29

EAU CLAIRE — The UW-Eau Claire University Band, under the direction of Dr. Randal Dickerson, associate professor of music, will present a concert at 7:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 29, in Gantner Concert Hall of the Haas Fine Arts Center.

The program will begin with Overture in B flat by Caesar Giovannini and continue with "Shenandoah: A Sea Fantasy" arranged by Claude T. Smith; "American Faces" by David R. Holsinger; "Elegy for a Young American" by Ronald Lo Presti; and four dances from "West Side Story" by Leonard Bernstein, arranged for symphonic band by Ian Polster. The program will conclude with "Procession of the Nobles," the cortege from the opera "Mlada" by Nicholas Rimsky-Korsakov.

Tickets, available at the University Service Center, (715) 836-3727 or (800) 949-UWEC, are $4 for the general public; $3 for those 62 and older and children 17 and younger; and free for faculty, staff and students with a university ID.
