EAU CLAIRE — University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire Continuing Education/UW-Extension will offer a grant writing class for nonprofit staff, private and public school educators, health care professionals, and others interested in learning how to write effective grant proposals.
The class will be held Jan. 20, 2005, in the Presidents Room of the W.R. Davies University Center on the UW-Eau Claire campus. The University is not in session that day, so on-campus parking is available.
Jack Bushnell, experienced proposal writer and professor of English at UW-Eau Claire, will highlight the steps involved in writing effective grant proposals and guide participants through a hypothetical proposal, focusing on the essentials that result in funding.
The registration fee is $159 per person; $149 per person registering before Jan.10, 2005. Class size is limited, so early registration is encouraged.
To register or for more information, contact UW-Eau Claire Continuing Education/UW-Extension by calling (715) 836-3636 or (866) 893-2423 or by sending e-mail to ce@uwec.edu.
