Homecoming Clean Up Project

 MAILED:  Oct. 1, 2004

UW-Eau Claire students will help clean up the Historic Randall Park neighborhood Sunday as part of the university's Homecoming festivities this weekend.

Students participating in the Adopt-a-Block competition will meet at 1 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 3, in the university's Water Street parking lot.

The students will break into teams, with teams competing to pick up trash that was left from the weekend's festivities in their designated areas. Each team will be assigned a block. Whichever team collects the most garbage in the designated amount of time will win.

The annual Adopt-a-Block neighborhood clean up will be the final 2004 Homecoming event.

Reporters and photographers are welcome.
