Singer-Songwriter Emilia Dahlin
To Present Free Concerts at UW-Eau Claire
EAU CLAIRE — Emilia Dahlin will present three free concerts at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, Sept. 9-11. Her shows will begin at 8 p.m. in The Cabin, Davies Center.
Songs sculpted with emotional wit and a strong, percussive playing style have launched the 26-year-old singer-songwriter into the realm of successful artists. Dahlin is a self-taught artist and promoter who is touring North American colleges, coffeehouses, clubs and music festivals to share well-crafted songs that fuse folk, jazz, and blues into a delicious mix. She was recently nominated Best Folk Singer-Songwriter by the Portland Phoenix and WFNX Radio.
The show is open to all ages. Soda, domestic and imported beer, and popcorn will be sold; proof of age is required for alcohol purchases.
The Cabin program is sponsored by the University Activities Commission of the UW-Eau Claire Student Senate.
