'Health Assessment of Adults'
Program to Run Aug. 23-26
EAU CLAIRE - The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire Continuing Education/UW-Extension and the UW-Eau Claire School of Nursing will present "Health Assessment of Adults" Aug. 23-26.
The program will be offered from 8 a.m. to 2:50 p.m. Monday-Thursday, Aug. 23-26, in Room 260 in the Nursing Building at UW-Eau Claire.
The hands-on skills program for registered nurses is designed to build knowledge and confidence in the health assessment of adults in a variety of settings including community, acute care, ambulatory and long-term care.
The course will begin with the essentials of taking history and an overview of physical assessment. It will conclude with assessment by systems.
Karen Danielson, a gerontological nurse practitioner and emeritus faculty member, will teach the course. Tuition is $299, which includes refreshments, instruction and instructional materials. Enrollment is limited.
