EAU CLAIRE — The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire College of Business’s management faculty recently recognized one student with the Outstanding Management Major Awards and four students with Distinguished Management Major Awards.
Senior Angela Haskovec, Preston, Minn., received the Outstanding Management Major Award. Seniors Emily Klinge, Roseville, Minn., Amanda Kroll, Somerset, Angela Macke, Middleton, and Ryan Wenzel, Stratford, were awarded the Distinguished Management Major Awards.
The management faculty created the awards to recognize management majors for their scholastic achievement and extra-curricular involvement at UW-Eau Claire. Eligible students were seniors with a 3.0 or above cumulative grade-point average, a 3.5 GPA in management classes and active involvement as an intern or as an officer or leader in a student organization.
“These students are not only some of the best and the brightest at UW-Eau Claire, but they have displayed the dedication, discipline, and interpersonal skills needed to be tomorrow’s business leaders,” said Ken De Meuse, professor and head of the management area in the department of management and marketing.
