Outstanding Students to be Honored
At Alumni Association Luncheon

EAU CLAIRE — The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire Alumni Association will honor 15 outstanding students and scholarship recipients at an award luncheon to be held at noon Wednesday, May 12, in the Tamarack Room of Davies Center.

Debra Webster, a comprehensive management major from Eau Claire, will receive the Adult Opportunities Outstanding Student Award.

Ailish Barcelo, a comprehensive marketing and management major from Sun Prairie, will receive the Office of Multicultural Affairs Outstanding Student Award.

Feng Deng, a comprehensive economics and management information systems major from Eau Claire, will receive the Center for International Education Outstanding Student Award.

Julie Slowiak, a Dec. 2003 graduate who majored in psychology and communication from Thorp, will be awarded the College of Arts and Sciences Outstanding Student Award.

Andrew Hinz, a business finance and accounting major from Van Dyne, will receive the College of Business Outstanding Student Award.

Erin Tonnar, an elementary education major from Spooner, will receive the College of Professional Studies Outstanding Student Award for Education.

Jessica Berti, a comprehensive major in environmental and public health from Rosholt, will receive a College of Professional Studies Outstanding Student Award for Human Sciences and Services.

Melissa Irwin, a Dec. 2003 nursing graduate from Stillwater, Minn., will receive a College of Professional Studies Outstanding Student Award for Nursing.

Steven Carlson a Dec. 2003 graduate, Eden Prairie, Minn., will receive the Graduate Studies Outstanding Student Award for the College of Arts and Sciences.

Don Hinson, Eau Claire, will receive the Graduate Studies Outstanding Student Award for the College of Business.

Jason Christopherson, Chippewa Falls, will receive the Graduate Studies Outstanding Student Award for the College of Professional Studies for Human Sciences and Services.

DeAnn Thomas-Kvidera, Burnsville, Minn., will receive the Graduate Studies Outstanding Student Award for the College of Professional Studies for Nursing.

Lori Parker, Mondovi, will receive the Graduate Studies Outstanding Student Award for the College of Professional Studies for Education.

Two 2003 scholarship recipients also will be honored during the luncheon.

Juli Pitzer, a broadfield social studies secondary education major from Eau Claire, will receive the Leonard and Dorellen Haas Scholarship.

Erin Flehmer, a Spanish major with a business minor emphasis from Cedarburg, will receive the Richard E. Hibbard Scholarship.
