EAU CLAIRE — The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire Alumni Association will honor members of UW-Eau Claire’s class of 1954 — the university’s newest Golden Blugolds — on Thursday, May 13, during Golden Blugold Day.

The day of special on-campus activities is free and open to all 1954 and earlier UW-Eau Claire graduates, their guests, and UW-Eau Claire current and emeriti faculty and staff.
Golden Blugold Day will begin with registration and a continental breakfast from 8-9 a.m. in the Skylight Lounge of UW-Eau Claire’s Davies Center. The day’s activities will include:

• a Phillips Science Hall greenhouse tour from 9-9:30 a.m.
• a tour of the William D. Mcintyre Library’s special collections department, including the rare book collection, the university archives and the local history collection, from 9:45-10:15 a.m.
• a Schofield Hall tour from 10:15-10:45 a.m.
• a 10:45 a.m. Golden Blugold pinning ceremony for the 50-year reunion class with Chancellor Donald Mash in Schofield Auditorium.
• a noon luncheon with Chancellor Mash in the Tamarack Room, Davies Center.
• a coach bus tour of Eau Claire and the Chippewa Valley Museum from 2-4 p.m.
