EAU CLAIRE — University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire junior Gina Duwe of Wausau will spend her winter break in 2005 in Washington, D.C., working at The Washington Post.

Duwe was introduced as the seventh recipient of the Ann Devroy Fellowship during the April 22 forum, which included a speech by Andrea Mitchell.

The fellowship includes a three-week residency at The Washington Post, a $1,400 scholarship to defray the costs of the residency and an internship at a Wisconsin newspaper in the summer of 2005.

Duwe is a part-time reporter for the Eau Claire Leader-Telegram as well as a chief copy editor at The Spectator, the student newspaper.
