EAU CLAIRE — The Indianhead Arts & Education Center, a program of University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire Continuing Education/UW-Extension, announces the opening of registration for its 2004 summer music clinics, held June 13-July 30 in Shell Lake. The summer music clinics are open to students in grades 6-12.

Registrations are accepted until each clinic is full. The upcoming schedule of clinics is:

• Jazz Strings & Fiddlin’ Clinic with Randy Sabien: June 13-18
• Concert Band Clinic: June 13-18
• Jazz Ensemble & Combo Clinic (3 sessions): June 20-25, June 27-July 2, and July 4-9
• Classic Jazz Combo Clinic: July 11-16
• Show Choir Clinics (2 sessions): July 18-23 and July 25-30

The Shell Lake summer music clinics are taught by faculty from schools and universities all over the country. The Concert Band Clinic and Show Choir Clinics have been running for over twenty years, and the Jazz Ensemble & Combo Clinic is the nation’s longest continuous-running summer jazz camp in the nation — 36 years!
