EAU CLAIRE — The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire music and theatre arts department will present the following musical performances the week beginning Monday, March 1. All events are free and open to the public.

Sunday, March 7:

• The University String Orchestra, directed by Paul Kosower, professor of music, will present a spring concert at 2 p.m. in Gantner Concert Hall of the Haas Fine Arts Center. The concert will open with Orchestral Suite No.3 in D Major by J.S. Bach. They will continue with a piece by William Walton, and will close with Symphony No. 29 in A Major by Mozart.
