Dr. Paul J. Thomas, associate professor of physics and astronomy at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, has research interests that lie in the field of planetary science.
Thomas has published more than 30 articles in academic and popular journals. He also worked as a researcher at NASA’s Ames Research Center and Cornell University’s Center for Radiophysics and Space Research.
While working at Cornell University, Thomas worked with Steve Squyres, the principal scientist on the Mars Exploration Rover team.
Thomas is available to discuss President Bush’s space initiative and to comment on the Mars Exploration Rover team’s successes.
