Disability and Aging Workshop

EAU CLAIRE — University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire Continuing Education/UW-Extension and the Community Based Service Training Partnership for Adults will present “Disability and Aging,” an advanced workshop designed for social workers, marriage and family therapists, healthcare providers, case managers and others who work with older adults, the disabled and their families.

The seminar, presented by Dr. Kathleen M. Deery, D.R.C., will provide information and skills needed for health and human services professionals from diverse settings to work effectively with older adults and their families who are experiencing both normal age-related health changes and disabling conditions.

“Disability and Aging” will be held Feb.10 in Eau Claire at the Plaza Inn & Suites; Feb. 11, 2004, in Rhinelander at Holiday Acres Resort; and Feb.12 in Hayward at the Hayward Inn & Suites. Programs at all locations are from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.

Program tuition is $99 per person, $89 for registrations postmarked by Jan. 30, and $89 for three or more registering together. Tuition includes materials, lunch and CEUs.
