UW-Eau Claire Forensics
Competes at UW-Stout

EAU CLAIRE — The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire forensics team placed fifth in team sweepstakes at the UW-Stout tournament Dec. 5-6.

Following are the individual results from the UW-Stout tournament:

Junior Kelly Marie Bender, New London, placed first in communication analysis and poetry interpretation and second in prose interpretation. Bender’s first place finish in poetry interpretation qualifies for NFA.

Junior Andy Bevernitz, Clintonville, took second in informative speaking and fourth in after-dinner speaking.

Freshman Christine Zani, Hurley, placed third in informative speaking and fifth in prose interpretation. Zani’s third and fifth place finishes qualify for NFA.
