Representatives from the UW-Eau Claire Foundation and the Eau Claire YMCA will hold a joint news conference Tuesday, Dec. 9, to announce multimillion dollar gifts to both organizations from the family estate of a longtime university faculty member who retired more than a half century ago.

The gifts are the largest received to date by both the UW-Eau Claire Foundation and the Eau Claire YMCA.

The news conference will begin at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday in the Skylight Lounge on the second floor of Davies Center.

Parking will be available in the lot behind Zorn Arena and in the Visitor’s Lot on Roosevelt.
