Suzuki Strings Offered Via UW-Eau Claire
Preparatory Arts Music Program

EAU CLAIRE — The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire’s Preparatory Arts Music Program will offer Suzuki Strings lessons for children in the Chippewa Valley ages 4 and older during winter and spring 2004.

The 15-week program runs Jan. 26 through May 14. Weekly lessons will be held in the Preparatory Arts Studio in the Haas Fine Arts Center at UW-Eau Claire.

Weekly lesson times with certified Suzuki instructor Janelle Severson can be arranged through the UW-Eau Claire Continuing Education Office. The deadline for registration is Jan. 16.
Lesson costs are $245 for 20-minute lessons, $340 for 30-minute lessons, $485 for 45-minute lessons and $630 for 60-minute lessons. The fee covers instruction, scheduling and administration.

UW-Eau Claire’s department of music and theatre arts will sponsor the program in cooperation with UW-Eau Claire Continuing Education/UW-Extension.
