UW-Eau Claire to Offer Popular
Foot and Nail Care Clinics

EAU CLAIRE — University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire Continuing Education will offer a “Foot and Nail Care” program designed for registered nurses, nurse practitioners, wound care nurses and diabetic educators.

The winter session will be held Jan.15-16, 2004, at Holiday Inn Campus and the L.E. Phillips Senior Center. The spring session will be held June 24-25 at the same locations. Class times are 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Tara Buescher, a registered nurse and clinical specialist in gerontology at Marshfield Clinic, Lakewood Center, Minocqua, will address patient teaching activities, identification and treatment of selected conditions of the skin and nails, and foot and nail care/management.

Tuition is $349 and includes two lunches, refreshments, program manual, instruction and supervised practice. Enrollment is limited and past programs have filled quickly, so register early to guarantee your spot.
