Reporters and photographers are welcome to cover the “Celebrating Jewish Culture and Music” event Sunday, Nov. 16. The celebration — which will include music, dancing and a silent auction — will run from 1-4 p.m. in the Council Fire Room of Davies Center at UW-Eau Claire.

Dance lessons will be offered from 1-1:30 p.m., with a klezmer music concert following from 1:30-3 p.m. The concert will feature Twin Cities-based international recording artists Mark Stillman, accordion; Sima Shumilovsy, singer; and Jim Price, violin.

A silent auction (which will include a car) will run from 1-3 p.m.

Participants will be able to buy a variety of items from 1-4 p.m. Items will include Jewish music CDs, books, Hanukkah items, Shofars, beauty products from Israel, jewelry and baked goods.
