UW-Eau Claire Symphonic Choir
To Present Fall Concert Nov. 23

EAU CLAIRE — The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire Symphonic Choir, under the direction of Dr. Alan Rieck, will present a fall concert at 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 23, in Gantner Concert Hall of the Haas Fine Arts Center.

The choir will perform Mozart’s Mass in C Major, K. 31 and the “Gloria” by Francis Poulenc. The University Orchestra, under the direction of Nobuyoshi Yasuda, assistant professor of music, will provide accompaniment for the choir.

Mass in C Major, K. 317 will feature Dr. Mitra Sadeghpour, assistant professor of music, singing soprano; Dr. Kathryn Proctor Duax, professor of music, singing mezzo-soprano; Dr. Daniel Newman, associate professor of music, singing tenor; and Dr. Robert Knight, associate professor of music, singing baritone.

Tickets, available at the University Service Center, (715) 836-3727 or (800) 949-UWEC, are $4.75 for the general public; $3.75 for those 62 and older, children 17 and younger and faculty and staff with a university ID; and $1.25 for students with a university ID.
