EAU CLAIRE — The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire forensics team took the first place trophy Saturday, Nov. 1, at the UW-River Falls tournament.
Following are the individual results from Saturday’s tournament:
Junior Kelly Bender, New London, placed first in prose interpretation and poetry interpretation, second in informative speaking and fourth in oral interpretation.
Junior Mandy Dolan, Greenfield, took first in program oral interpretation, second in poetry interpretation and fourth in informative speaking.
Sophomore Abby Czeskleba, Middleton, placed second in prose interpretation and third in persuasion.
Freshmen Andy Wilkins, Lakeville, Minn., and Ken Dungar, Oshkosh, took second in duo interpretation.
Sophomore Betsy Schroeder, Le Center, Minn., placed third in dramatic interpretation.
The forensics team will be in Peoria, Ill., Friday, Nov. 7 and Saturday, Nov. 8, to compete in the Bradley Tournament, one of the largest regular season tournaments in the nation.
