Michio Kaku News Conference
 MAILED:  Nov. 4, 2003

Theoretical physicist Michio Kaku will meet with the media from 3:30-4:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 6, in the Alumni Room of Davies Center at UW-Eau Claire.

Reporters and photographers are welcome.

Kaku will give a Forum presentation titled “The World in 2020: Computers, Robots, DNA, Energy and Environment” at 7:30 p.m. Thursday in Zorn Arena.

An internationally recognized authority in theoretical physics and the environment, Kaku will explain the fascinating and complex ideas in science today. He will examine the great scientific revolutions that have dramatically reshaped the 20th century — quantum mechanics, biogenetics and artificial intelligence — and how they will transform the way we live in the 21st century. Kaku predicts a future in which we are no longer passive bystanders to the dance of the universe, but creative choreographers of matter, life and intelligence.
