UW-Eau Claire Psychologist
Receives Two State Awards

EAU CLAIRE — Dr. Richard Boyum, a counseling psychologist at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, received both of the two awards presented by the Wisconsin College Personnel Association at its annual convention in Wisconsin Dells Oct. 30-31.

Boyum received the Outstanding Program Award for the UW-Eau Claire Counseling Services Web page, and the Annabelle E. Wolf Award for Outstanding Service to College Student Personnel, given to an individual with at least 7 years of experience in higher education who has had a lasting impact or made a lasting contribution to the profession.

Boyum will receive plaques recognizing his state awards at the honors recognition ceremony at the American College Personnel Association national convention to be held April 1-5, 2004, in Philadelphia.

The WCPA, which is a state division of the ACPA, includes members from both two and four-year public colleges and universities and the technical college system in Wisconsin.

The ACPA, headquartered in Washington, D.C. at the National Center for Higher Education, leads the student affairs profession and the higher education community in providing outreach, advocacy, research and professional development to foster college student learning.
