EAU CLAIRE — The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire continues its efforts to make nontraditional students feel welcome and comfortable on campus and to promote their success as the university celebrates National Nontraditional Student Awareness Week, Nov. 2-8. Activities on campus include:

• Tuesday, Nov. 4, 10-11 a.m. — Car Seat Safety Information, presented by Chris Kirchman of University Police, in the Potawatomi Room of Davies Center.
• Wednesday, Nov. 5, 1-1:30 p.m. — social gathering; 1:30-2 p.m. — An Eau Claire Chamber of Commerce representative will speak on Young Professionals of Eau Claire; and 2-3 p.m. — Adrian Klenz, UW-Eau Claire Student Senate president, will speak and answer questions on “Surviving as a Nontrad.” All in the Menominee Room, Davies Center.
• Thursday, Nov. 6, 3-5 p.m. — “Car Care Basics,” presented by Todd Bann, service manager of Prestige Auto in Eau Claire, in the Tamarack Room of Davies Center.

All sessions are open to all nontraditional students and faculty and staff who have an interest in nontraditional students. Refreshments will be served at each event.

The week’s events are sponsored by the Nontraditional Student Advisory Committee, Student Senate, and the Adult Opportunity Office.
