Programs in Mosinee to Focus on Treatment
For Depression and Post-traumatic Stress Disorder

EAU CLAIRE — University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire Continuing Education and UW-Extension will present two programs taught by Dr. William Bradshaw, an internationally acclaimed speaker and expert in the treatment of major mental disorders.

“Innovative and Effective Treatment Approaches for Depression” will be held Monday, Nov. 17, at the Stoney Creek Inn-Northwoods Conference Center in Mosinee. “Innovative and Effective Treatment Approaches for Post-traumatic Stress Disorder” will be held Tuesday, Nov. 18, at the same location. Both programs are designed for social workers, marriage and family therapists, mental health therapists and clinicians, clergy, and nurses caring for patients with mental health concerns.

Bradshaw was director of Psychiatry and Chemical Dependency at Kaiser Permanente in San Diego and has lectured internationally. Currently he is an associate professor in the University of Minnesota’s School of Social work and recipient of the 1999 McFarland Creative Teaching Award from the College of Human Ecology.

Program tuition is $125 per person for either program; $210 per person for both programs; or $105 per person for three or more registering at the same time for one program. Tuition includes materials, lunch, CEUs and nursing contact hours.
