UW-Eau Claire Continuing Education to Present
Literacy Conference in Wisconsin Dells

EAU CLAIRE — University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire Continuing Education and UW-Extension will present “Connecting for Success: The GED/HSED and Adult Literacy Family” Nov.12-14 at the Howard Johnson Antiqua Bay Hotel and Conference Center in Wisconsin Dells.

The conference is designed for GED examiners and administrators, GED/HSED teachers, disability specialists and others who work or volunteer in family literacy, ESL, ABE instruction, inmate education or community based organizations. The first day and a half concentrates on GED/HSED preparation for teachers and examiners. Topics for workplace literacy, family literacy, ESL instruction, and corrections will be featured the second and third day.

Conference fee options are $175 for Assembly one, (Wednesday, Thursday, Friday) $100 for Assembly two, (Wednesday & Thursday/Sessions A-E/Lunch) and $100 for Assembly three (Thursday & Friday/Sessions E-K/Lunch.). Fees include instruction, CEUs, materials, lunch and refreshments.
