EAU CLAIRE — Bluesman Paul Filipowicz will present three free concerts at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire Oct. 16-18. His shows will begin at 8 p.m. Thursday through Saturday in The Cabin, Davies Center.
Paul Filipowicz has played blues his entire life, never wavering or bending to fads or whims. His songwriting abilities have produced four CDs — “Go for the Throat” (1996), “Never Had It So Good” (1997), “What Have You Done for Me Lately” (1999), and “Midnight at the Nairobi Room” (2001).
The show is open to all ages. Pop, domestic and imported beer, wine coolers and popcorn will be sold; proof of age is required for alcohol purchases.
The Cabin program is sponsored by the University Activities Commission of the UW-Eau Claire Student Senate.
