EAU CLAIRE — University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire Continuing Education/UW-Extension will present “Facing Conflict Head-On,” a two-day seminar designed for small business owners, managers, supervisors and others who manage people or work in a team-based environment. The seminar will focus on effectively managing conflict in organizations.

“Facing Conflict Head-On” will be offered Nov. 19-20 and March 17-18, 2004, at Sweetwaters Restaurant in Eau Claire. It also will be offered June 9-10, 2004 at the Cleary Alumni and Friends Center on the UW-La Crosse campus.

Workshop facilitator Robert Jeffers is a speaker, trainer, consultant and coach who teaches people how to build better working relationships. Jeffers utilizes the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator as a tool for improving communication effectiveness.

“Facing Conflict Head-On” is a specialized course in the Supervisory Management Certificate program co-sponsored by the Small Business Development Center, UW-Eau Claire, UW-La Crosse, and UW-Extension.
