EAU CLAIRE — University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire Continuing Education/Extension will present “Negotiation Skills,” a two-day seminar designed for business owners, managers, production supervisors, office managers and others who need to turn problems into opportunities.
“Negotiation Skills” will be offered in Eau Claire Nov. 5-6 at Sweetwaters Restaurant. Tony Nagle is the instructor. Nagle was trained in principled negotiation skills by William Ury, co-author of “Getting to Yes,” and is a nationally known negotiation and sales skills trainer and consultant.
Participants will learn how to efficiently reach agreements that satisfy both parties and to conduct negotiations that end amicably and preserve or improve the relationship. How to identify common tactics, counter dirty tricks, and identify negotiation styles also will be discussed.
“Negotiation Skills” also will be presented in Eau Claire April 21-22, 2004. For a complete schedule of dates, locations and additional program information, call (715) 836-5637 or (800) 582-5182, or e-mail Mgmt_Seminars@uwec.edu.
“Negotiation Skills” is part of the Supervisory Management Certificate program co-sponsored by the Small Business Development Center, UW-Eau Claire, UW-La Crosse, and UW-Extension.
