“We are proud to honor these UW-Eau Claire alumni who are making important contributions to their communities and to our society as a whole,” said John Bachmeier, UW-Eau Claire director of alumni relations. “The fact that they all have roots at UW-Eau Claire is a real testament to the value of a liberal arts education from this university.”

Selection criteria for inductees to the Alumni Hall of Honor include demonstrated professional success and community involvement. Also considered, but not mandatory, is whether an individual has earned an advanced degree in his or her field. The Alumni Hall of Honor event is sponsored by the UW-Eau Claire Alumni Association and the UW-Eau Claire Foundation.

More detailed biographical information about the 2003 Alumni Hall of Honor inductees is available on the UW-Eau Claire alumni Web site.
