EAU CLAIRE — The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire
music and theatre arts department will present the following musical performances
the week beginning Monday, Sept. 29. All events are free and open to the public.
Wednesday, Oct. 1:
- Dr. Susan Glaser will present a guest recital at 5 p.m.
in Phillips Recital Hall of the Haas Fine Arts Center. Glaser has performed
around the globe, premiering and commissioning works from composers such as
George Tsontakis, Stella Sung, Ann LeBaron, Tristan Keuris and many more.
She holds a doctorate from the Julliard School of Music.
Thursday, Oct. 2:
- UW-Eau Claire seniors Terra Stefansky, Waukesha,
and Michelle Angsten, Waupaca, will present a joint soprano recital at 5 p.m.
in Phillips Recital Hall of the Haas Fine Arts Center. Stefansky and Angsten
will perform a varied repertoire, from Mozart and Schubert to Debussy and
Puccini.
