Residents from four Eau Claire area nursing homes will join UW-Eau Claire students and others for a variety of activities Saturday, Sept. 20, in Carson Park as part of the third annual “A Day in the Park” events.

The day is sponsored by UW-Eau Claire’s American College of Health Care Administrators.

“A Day in the Park” is planned in conjunction with the annual Alzheimer’s Association Memory Walk, which begins at 9 a.m. Saturday in Carson Park.

After the walk, the residents can play bingo, card games, chess, checkers, bowling, beanbag toss and balloon volleyball.
