University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire Gears Up for Academic
Year
It will be a busy week at UW-Eau Claire as faculty,
staff and students return to campus for the new academic year. Here are some
highlights of events this week:

This year’s new freshman class of nearly 1,900
students is the smallest in more than a decade, but
also the highest quality (measured by average
ACT score and high school rank in class) in

Photo Opportunity
CUBEfest (Creating the Ultimate Blugold Experience),
10 days of events to welcome and integrate first-year students to the academic
community begins Friday, August 29 at 5:30
p.m. with a picnic in the backyard of Towers Residence Hall.
Other activities include special entertainers and concerts, dances, films, fitness
activities, athletics events and in-hall activities. Contact
