EAU CLAIRE - Heather L. Hunt, a graduate student from Baxter, Minn., will be the student speaker at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire's August 2 commencement ceremony, presenting the summer 2003 class reflections.
Hunt, who received her undergraduate degree from St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minn., is receiving her master's degree in school psychology and plans to continue her studies at UW-Eau Claire by pursing an education specialist degree in the same field.
Hunt plans to speak about the planning, persistence and creativity required to accomplish one's goals, and to remind the graduates that all the obstacles they overcame to obtain a degree will prepare them to push their limits and face new challenges with confidence.
