EAU CLAIRE - Two students who will attend the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire this fall have been awarded Sentry Insurance Student Leadership scholarships for the 2003-04 academic year.

Kristina Kessel, Fergus Falls, Minn., a graduate of Fergus Falls Senior High and the daughter of Theodore and Kathleen Kessel, and Justin Boyd, Hudson, a graduate of Hudson High School and the son of Bill Boyd and Sue Andeweg, will receive the awards.

Sentry Insurance Student Leadership Scholarships are awarded to new freshmen at UW-Eau Claire who are majoring in business administration, computer sciences or management information systems (MIS), accounting, finance, mathematics (actuarial science), or engineering. Recipients are selected based on academic achievement, national test scores, and school and community leadership and service. The scholarships are renewable for up to three years.
