EAU CLAIRE - Kris Anderson has been named interim executive director of enrollment services and interim director of admissions at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, effective June 1, Provost Ronald Satz announced this week.

Anderson has served as interim director of admissions since the departure of Robert Lopez in January.

"Kris has done an excellent job in that role, and I am confident she will do a fine job in leading the planning for the design, development, implementation and management of the university's enrollment services program in her expanded role as interim executive director of enrollment services and director of admissions," Satz said.

Anderson, who was appointed as UW-Eau Claire associate director of admissions in fall 2001, has more than 10 years of experience in university admissions. She previously served as assistant director of admissions at UW-Superior and as an admissions counselor at UW-River Falls. She holds a bachelor's degree from Albright College in Reading, Pa., and a master's degree from The College of William and Mary, Williamsburg, Va.
