Students to be Honored at Outstanding
Student Award Luncheon

EAU CLAIRE - The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire Alumni Association will honor 15 outstanding students and scholarship recipients at an award luncheon May 7.

The event will begin at noon in the Tamarack Room of Davies Center.

Tracy Garder, a comparative studies in religion major from Fort McCoy who graduated in December 2002, will receive the Adult Opportunities Outstanding Student Award.

Christine Asuquo, a senior elementary education major from Stevens Point, will receive the American Ethnic Coordinating Office Outstanding Student Award.

Sandeep Bang, a senior computer science and business administration major from India, will receive the Center for International Education Outstanding Student Award.

Ellie Mauel, a senior psychology major from Berlin, will receive the College of Arts and Sciences Outstanding Student Award.

Kelly Scheuer, a senior accounting and business finance major from Marshfield, will receive the College of Business Outstanding Student Award.

Kelly Prusak, a senior elementary education major from Duluth, Minn., will receive a College of Professional Studies Outstanding Student Award for Education.

Jamie Patnode, a senior social work major from Green Bay, will receive the College of Professional Studies Outstanding Student Award for Human Sciences and Services.

Jill Behnke, a senior nursing student from Kaukauna, will receive the College of Professional Studies Outstanding Student Award for Nursing.

Kristen Seas, Northfield, Minn., will receive the Graduate Studies Outstanding Student Award for the College of Arts and Sciences.

Aaron Wieneke, Eau Claire, will receive the Graduate Studies Outstanding Student Award for the College of Business.

Jennifer S. Carlson, Eden Prairie, Minn., will receive the Graduate Studies Outstanding Student Award for the College of Professional Studies for Human Sciences and Services.

Mary Johnson, Eau Claire, will receive the Graduate Studies Outstanding Student Award for the College of Professional Studies for Nursing.

Heidi White, Eau Claire, will receive the Graduate Studies Outstanding Student Award for the College of Professional Studies for Education.

Two scholarship recipients will be honored during the luncheon.

Nicholas Robertson, a junior chemistry major from Eau Claire, will receive the $500 Leonard and Dorellen Haas Scholarship.

Krista A. Bowman, a junior biology and Spanish major from Roberts, will receive the $500 Richard E. Hibbard Scholarship.
