EAU CLAIRE - The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire Continuing Education/UW Extension will sponsor the second annual SmArt program, a summer art program designed for middle and high school students.
The program - open to all middle and high school students - will be held July 14-24 in the Haas Fine Arts Center. Classes are 9:30-11:30 a.m., 9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. or 12:30 p.m.-2:30 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays.
SmArt emphasizes hands-on experiences in a variety of art disciplines. Students can choose from seven courses:
Tuition for SmArt is $65 per class, plus a $20 materials fee. Eau Claire residents can waive tuition for one class per child and Chippewa Falls residents can waive tuition for two classes. Enrollment is on a first-come, first-served basis. Classes fill quickly.
